Hi strangers, tell me what to do with my money 🤠 I’m 22 years old still living with my parents with minimal expenses. I make $65k, maxed out my 401k, have no debt, $30k in an HYSA, and $13k in a brokerage account. When I move out in 6 months or so, I estimate I’ll need $12k in an emergency fund. Should I put everything except that in my brokerage account? I hate that I have so much in the so called “high yield” account only making 0.45%

Countries with advanced healthcare systems (not necessarily universal) will have much higher per capita Corona impact because series health concerns are not as lethal here as other countries.
Hello, I am 36 and have over 250k in savings. I started saving late (at 32) as I didn’t make much and lived in NYC. I used to be on a visa and had little to say on my salary negotiations. Upon getting my green card, my salary doubled when I changed jobs and I started saving extensively. Today I make around 180k a year and am able to save $4.5k a month and 7% towards 401k. I have no kids and I am looking to maximize savings. Any advice? Thanks!
What was the first true asset you bought (positive income generation) and how did you decide on it? Not talking about stocks or 401k, more secondary property to rent, small business, etc. Thanks!

Thoughts on getting promoted and getting pregnant shortly after? My company has to honor my maternity leave by law but do you think this will be frowned upon or cause an issue? My company is family friendly but it just feels weird to me. I really want a second kid though so my kids can be close in age.
I’ve always maxed out my HSA. Have new plan options for 2022, almost identical for deductibles, copays, etc. First is completely covered by employer but no HSA contribution. Second would be $1680 premium for the year but comes with $2k HSA contribution form employer. Which would offer the better tax savings benefits? Instinct is to go with the second, but unsure tax wise what makes sense

Finance/accounting fish -- I need to put down my deposit on my MBA for 2021: 1) cash out investments? 2) 401k loan given I'm going to convert 401k -> IRA to pay for MBA given lower tax rate?
In case you never got to see the New York Times article about air quality in classrooms, I’m posting it here for you. It makes some very important points about creating the safest possible environment for students and teachers. 1. Open windows if it all possible 2. Place air purifier centrally 3. Don’t place fans in a way where the air is pointed at people Have a great year and keep yourself and your students safe! https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/02/26/science/reopen-schools-safety-ventilation.html
Hello, fellow creatives! I want to share a project that I have busting my butt on and thought you might enjoy it. It's WanktheVote.com. We're currently running ads on PornHub and other porn sites to route people to this site. The ads promise free, sexy 18+ content. They are then brought to WanktheVote.com, where they are given the hottest 18+ content right now—voter info—and of course porn. Please enjoy, and if you do please share!
Raise your hand if you've almost spilled coffee on yourself while purposely ignoring a beautiful girl in the hallway only so that she thinks that you have shit goin on in your life
I’ve been interviewing at a variety of companies this week (ranging from FAANG to smaller tech companies to nonprofits). How long after the interview should I give them before assuming I’m out of the running? When I last switched jobs, it was typically about a week - is that still standard?
Considering an offer from Facebook for L5 Manager (Non-tech in recruiting) in Austin (remote). TC started at 178. Now 200 TC which I’m told is top of the pay band. Kinda confused because TC feels low for L5 people manager and pay sounds like L5 IC Austin pay. Any thoughts on if this is competitive or if you get a pay cut for working remote? Data to consider: interviews went really well, currently at Google (considering the move for growth to manage 12-20). No info on lvls.fyi for this role
Anyone have experience in music industry marketing? From the outside, it seems awesome to have a client who’s an artist instead of a middle-aged corporate white dude.
Is expert consultant interview at BCG different from generalist? I have about 3 years of experience and looking for a consultant role.

First year in consulting here. Just curious, what are the most important things that enable a partner to sell their work? Quality of past projects / experiences, number of credentials (CFA, CPA, MBA, etc.), friendships / relationships? Some people in my group have no credentials, some one, etc. I really just wonder what I should emphasize after my day to day work in developing.
McKinsey & Company when applying for a BA role, is it best to indicate interest in the areas for which it asks (M&A, Risk, etc.)? It gives the option to select interested, somewhat interested, or not interested. Are these functional alignments for after the 2 years as BA? Thank you in advance!
Uber recruiter reached out to me about a Strategy Ops Manager role. They asked me my compensation requirement and stated the base is 90k, which is less than what I’m currently making at a lower level. Are they lowballing me? Should I continue with the interviewing anyways and try to negotiate in later stages?
So with everything that’s happened with BLM and firms diversity and inclusion initiatives, what are the odds we get MLK day off as a holiday? Surely a little hypocritical to not celebrate/ appreciate the Civil Rights Movement with a day off?

I’m bad at interviewing bc I can’t look at charts and come up with insights on the spot (it takes me a few minutes to process). But that doesn’t mean I’m bad at critical thinking. I feel like the interview process for MBB is flawed
