Wait as long as you can. I was in person and told at 20 weeks. There is no need for more than a few months notice and a lot to fear from too much notice.
WOW but not surprising. Appreciate you sharing
I would also wait as long as possible especially if you are remote!
Commenting to follow. Same boat and congrats!!
Congrats to you as well!
I told my manager I was pregnant with my first around 8 weeks, now 16 weeks with my second and waiting until my 20 week ultrasound. Your call completely but wait until you are comfortable. Congrats on the baby!
First, huge congrats! So exciting. I’ve had 3 department members share their news with me over the past year. Each choosing a different time - 12, 16 and 20. I know it wasn’t awkward for me and I hope it wasn’t awkward for them. Share your news when you feel ready to!

I had one tell me at 9 weeks...which is way too early. And awkward to have to talk about it for so long. But I’m a misanthrope, so maybe just me.
I'd planned to wait til it was obvious, but wound up telling my boss at 12 weeks because morning sickness (quite the misnomer) turned me into a big nauseous barf bag and I needed a little leeway. I wish I'd had the Zoom-afforded luxury of waiting til I was 6+ months!
Congrats! Similar boat here and planning to wait until ~16 weeks.
