Flight issues have resulted in a 3 hour stint at an AA... but the "fresh" guacamole I got when I arrived still looks exactly the same after 3 hours... 🤔🤔🤥
Men of 🐠 bowl: How many navy blazers would you recommend owning? Does button type matter?
Got raise but no promotion even though I was an acting senior. All of my reviews say "exceeds expectations". What should be my next step?
Seeing a junior promoted to mid without a pay bump sucks. That's all. Sucks. I have no pull. But I don't think it's okay.
Getting into Product Management have a liberal arts degree. What’s the best masters to get to keep growing as a PM - Marketing? Business Analytics? Data Science? CS? MBA? So many options.

I used to sneak 2-3 cigarettes during work. Haven't had a cig since lock down and it feels great.
How have you brought an offer letter to your current employer to request a raise in a way that doesn’t mark you as a risk? I’m going through job interviews and think I have a good chance of getting the offer, but I honestly have no intention of leaving. I’m really only doing this to negotiate higher pay.
I’ve been paying attention to individuals LinkedIn account in various European countries and people’s level progression seems to in general be faster than in the US. What causes this you think?
Understand practices might differ, but typically does the equity portion of compensation typically get granted every year, or is it a one time grant that vests over time? In the context of a publicly traded tech company. Thanks.
I just started with a global firm; I came from a boutique firm. It’s awesome but also intimidating, especially my first client that I’m in-charging. It’s not a great client to get my hands around this firms way of doing things. What are your tips for succeeding? I’ll take any help and support I can get. Really want to do well. But overwhelm is creeping in fast…I feel like I already need to make a comeback.
Can someone explain very simply in their own words what the steps of going from H1B to GC is? I googled it myself but just confused about the forms associated with each step (I-140, I-485, etc.) and the approx time of each step. So far my firm has extended my H1B a month ago and while doing so asked me to briefly describe my job duties for the PERM labor certification application. Does that mean the GC process has been started? My h1b is till late 2024. What kind of timeline am I looking at?
Just received an offer yesterday in sales, leaning towards taking it. What's everyone's thoughts on the upside of sales? I think I'll enjoy it but wonder if it's the right move this early in my career
A Series C company. What do you want for compensation (e.g., base pay, bonus, rsa, rsu, options)? Have such a limited understanding of all of stock options.
Hmm. Thoughts? 🤔 (I like the sound of that, but because it means an expansion of my industry)
