If you are opting for a course, go for in-person training. Online courses are scam!
Are you programming in any of the languages like C/C++ etc? If so just keep working in current company and make sure you project your deliverables in resume related to profits and impact instead of stating what technologies you were working on. If possible try to get a chance to work in Micro-services architecture since it is possible you might be working on a Monolithic arch. There is more distributed services in Microservices that helps you get into F/MAANG companies.
FAANG/MAANG doesn't care about domains as long as you were doing coding work. Amazon, Google, Meta all have work related to C/C++.
Also I don't really understand when you say you 'wanted to switch from telecom industry to IT industry'. IT is a huge subset, you need to clarify the category. There is development, Support, IT administration, QA, devops in IT. So please clarify what you mean by IT industry? I am asking because there are IT development jobs in Telecom sector as well. So telecom industry itself is a subset of IT industry. So I want to clarify the category you are talking about. I am currently working in such company where I am responsible for some features in the telecom product development.
I have a mechanical engineering background so i deal with proper manufacturing and project installation in telecom . Im planning to get into cloud computing, aws, azure as im seeing very less growth in mechanical sector. I thought of learning coding but not sure any companies will hire me without any experience if i somehow managed to learn it. Also what are my option to choose without coding experience or knowledge of coding languages? and can easily use my already existing experience as a support to get a job?
