Dude, I dread it too, but was selected for it once. Turned into a good experience actually. Judge was really cool, took the time to explain how important we are to the judicial system. How it’s a big part of democracy etc. case felt important too. Was able to review/hear expert testimony. Award damages. Even elected myself presiding juror trying to speed things up to make my meetings. Worse part was just having to catch up on work after hours.
Me too !
45 years old and never once selected for jury duty although I wish I would be!
45 on the outside, 12 on the inside! 😆
I throw away my jury summons. 🤷🏻♀️. They’re never going to come after you. Not a big deal. Don’t have the time for it
You cheat on your taxes too?
In NJ o think you can only get called once every 3 years (as long as you went in and were dismissed or picked and did your time).
My family used to get called like clockwork, every 3 years, all of us. Started the year we were eligible for us kids. Since I moved out of county, only got called once in my last county and I just said I moved.
knock on wood...
37, and never been called. I wonder sometimes if they know I would enjoy it too much and so I just don't get called.
I loved getting Jury Duty. It’s a nice break 😉
