Got the following offers on the table:
1. Big 4 - Manager, $180k + $20k sign on, told a good expectation is 12-15% bonus next year. 1.5% 401k match and 3% pension contribution. First year cash would be around $225k
2. New, well funded advisory arm of an established business - Engagement manager, $210k, 20-25% bonus. 2.5% 401k match. First year cash closer to $250k
Big 4 is a defined path with history, reputation, and exits. Other place is largely unknown but a lot of comp.
What do you think?
Rising Star
Move, life’s too short

How much longer do you have until you are promoted? Do you think you can hold out until then? You might get better opportunities if you get the title bump before you go.
If it will be too long, then just take the new opportunities and get promoted there. Life is too short to be miserable.
IMO, get the title upgrade before jumping ship. More leverage for negotiation.
I'm also on track for a promotion and let's just say its been in the works for 2 almost 3 years. Not necessarily loving my job at the moment. Would it be beneficial to come to the promotion meeting with a type of counter for an outside/different position to negotiate how big the promotion will be?
