Up for promotion to manager, but bored of current market offering. Given politics of changing, is it better to try and switch after getting promoted or try now while at SC and risk being passed up?
Anyone know if you are entitled a job title promotion if you are constantly referred to by that title by your own company? I’m currently a SM, but my boss refers to me as Director to outside parties

@EY does your company offer any specials re: student loan refi? For example Deloitte gives an additional 0.25% off Sofi. Kinda not sure if I should be refi-ing now, considering I’m looking at potential $75k -> $100k+ raise if I end up at EY in a few months. Trying to take advantage of low rates while they last tho, not sure what they’ll be like in ~2-3 months time

How do you all manage the months when you couldn't travel every week (doctor's rec) but were not yet on maternity leave? Given my industry focus and home office, I have very limited local project options. Did anyone go internal for 1-2 years and how did that play out for promotion?

Does anyone use a “career coach” not necessarily a head hunter but someone who helps you get thinking. This is potential end goals, these are steps to take in your career, these are where your interests lie, this would be a good fit you see the idea. The other side of helping find the job, negotiating salary and other services would be the nice to have but I’m looking more for the coach. If you have used them what’s your experience? Worth the cost?
