I wouldn’t attend to be honest. I’m vaxed and tested negative on day 2 of symptoms but positive by day 5 :(
Be responsible and skip. You're symptomatic with something. Best case it's allergies. Worst case it's covid and you get someone sick. Even worse case if they become seriously ill. Even if it's just a cold, you shouldn't be spreading that either.
I think one thing most people will agree on is that symptomatic people should stay home!
I mean, even if it isn’t COVID, would you really want to expose people to a different contagious illness like the flu?
Why is this even a question. Haven’t we learned by now to stay home if you a sick.
Don’t go to the event, but do go get a PCR test to be sure

If you have symptoms, you should stay home.
You suspect COVID, but it could be a cold or the flu. However, even if it's the cold or flu, you should stay home. We have to normalize not exposing others to our apparent germs.
I’d skip BUT If you really really really need to go wear a high quality mask and social distance forsure.
Stay home. It can take a while to test positive. Sorry.
They say you should get tested 5-9 days after exposure and PCR tests are better than rapid tests as they are more sensitive. Do you know when you might have been exposed?
Will everyone be wearing a mask at the event?
Can you ask the organizer of the event their opinion on you attending? They should be given the chance to tell you not to come.
And if you don’t want to ask because you know they’d say no, you definitely shouldn’t go.

What COVID symptoms do you have? Unless it is loss of smell and taste, there are no other mild symptoms to differentiate. You can get a Stat PCR test which has a 24 hr turn around time.
