Hello,
I am currenly pursuing MS in Digital Media Management at Northeastern University. I am graduating this July, and am actively looking for full-time job opportunities especially in Google.
I would really appreciate if someone can provide me a referral at Google for entry-level/ associate roles in Digital/ Social Media Marketing roles.

Definitely hire a moving company, and preferably one who will pack your stuff for you as well. And make a checklist. That way you won't forget anything important in the process. You should be able to find pre-made moving checklists online with dates and everything. Good luck!
Thank you!

Schedule the move as soon as possible (minimize surge prices) and go with a well known company (still research them though).
I took a chance on a smaller company when I left CA & it was the absolute worst financial/emotional experience. I’m still missing large items and recovery attempts have been a nightmare. The move out there with a bigger company was essentially flawless in comparison.
Also Photograph your items before packing & once everything has been packed so you have additional record of what you are moving. Read the fine print. And really consider if the items you want to take are needed/worth it.

It’s a hard call. I had a ton of furniture from family that I took initially & fortunately moved into a house with ample storage for things that wouldn’t fit inside. Knowing the size of where you’re moving can help.
The other thing to consider is that moving more stuff can sometimes make the move more cost effective and decrease the wait time for delivery. Tons of people move into CA so the wait shouldn’t be as long as if you were moving somewhere less popular but if they have several “homes” on your moving truck a smaller load may get pushed back as far as delivery priority.
Take the TV, it’s one less expense. Pots/Pans are good to take too, especially if you prefer to cook. Keep in mind you’ll likely have to buy at least a cheap pan & cookware if you arrive before the scheduled delivery though.
I moved from Iowa to GA. I used pods and they were great. I would def suggest having professionals help you pack and unpack....I didn't do a great job and the pod door got stuck when everything shifted in the pod.
I’m definitely leaning towards hiring help. Mainly because it was a pain trying to get my furniture up the stairway and that seems to be the general consensus. Thanks for your input!
