Hi fishes, I have an interview comming up with Cisco for the role of salesforce developer. Cisco being a product company, I am assuming what would be the general patter for the tech roundswould be different from other service based MNC . The interviewer is from US and on checking his profile, it doesn't look like he is from salesforce background. Does anyone know of any tech companies that don’t have a hiring freeze on at the moment? I’m finding it increasingly difficult to find open roles in marketing, partner marketing or strategy right now. I’ve been through some pretty lengthy interview processes (Meta, Google, Slack, Monday, Adobe, Amazon) and the roles have all been put on hold by the time the final interviews have rolled around. I don’t think I have the energy to go through more interviews for the same result.

Someone applying who is wanting to relocate to the location or the role you are hiring, is that something you guys will not consider or will be the reason to eliminate them?

A job that I applied for and had multiple interview rounds got unposted and reposted yesterday. Any idea why? I can’t reapply for it as it says I already applied for it.

Is it even worth asking the recruiter about it, or is it safe to say I’m not their candidate? I applied and had my interviews back in June/July. Maybe it was delayed due to the economy? I had previously followed up a few months ago but had no response.

So I was one of two final candidates for a position. I was not selected and was fine. What I do find issue was being told they loved me and still want to work with me. They referred me to one of their vendors - pay is 50k less and I would be working for the person I lost original position to. I recently had an interview with BNY for an Analyst role located in DE. The interview went well and I was informed by the recruiter that the team was interested. They asked if I was willing to relocate immediately, and I told him that my decision would be best made if I see an offer. I have not yet received a follow up after this(coming on two weeks) so I know that I've been ghosted. My question is, was I wrong to ask to see the offer before making a decision?
