I’m possibly joining a start up fin tech. I’m obviously aware of the possibility of the firm failing. I’ve run legal / compliance programs at larger fin tech firms and I know it’s not cheep. What questions would you ask/ what would you be aware of?

Unpopular opinion - we inherently rank and cater to certain minority groups over other. We fail to recognize the struggles from these other minority groups and focus on the issues being pushed on social media and in the news.

I’m sure I’m in the minority here, but I find working early morning hours instead of late night hours to be so much better. Three of the last five business days I’ve been at my desk (in office) before 6:00 am, and honestly I’m starting to love it. I can get so much done when people aren’t here and I can still leave at 5:00 when others start leaving.

I’m in a nightmare case involving multiple claims of professional negligence against many people/entities. The two person firm representing the plaintiffs has filed 6 notices of unavailability and essentially refuses to allow depositions or motion practice to occur.
