I’m pretty much to the point of depression. I worked with some really rude and interesting recruiters who conduct screenings longer than the actual interview. One was washing dishes while they were discussing a position, the other never got back to me because her cousin was having a baby, one wouldn’t tell me the name of the firm because it’s “confidential”, another didn’t hear a word I said when it came to my background or skills. I started a new job a month ago and I hate it! I hate the culture (there is no culture) the way that they communicate (no meetings everything in slack) and the way that they work (alone) It feels pretty much like I am freelancing and I thrive in collaborative environment. I have never felt this isolated in my whole life. It sucks.
Has anyone been in that situation? If I look for another job, should I remove that experience from my linked in? Or should I talk about that if I get interviews?

Looking for some sincere advice. I absolutely bombed a case interview today. I’m defeated. I performed as well as someone with zero preparation after over a month of prep. I seem to always panic, I get disorganized, I’m flustered and lose sight of important relationships in cases. I feel like I need a complete overhaul. Does anyone know how I could confirm an insecurity? I question my chin and jaw line - it almost looks like I have a double chin in candid photos or videos, and no neck. But, when I look at my side profile in the mirror or in a selfie or video I take myself, it looks okay. I’ve asked ppl I know and they have all been adamant that it looks fine. Does anyone have any experience with NJ mini-COBRA for small businesses? How bad does it look to future employers for an experienced attorney (15+ years) who is pivoting into a different practice area and looking to lateral after only having been at their current/first job for 4-5 months in the new practice area? I've been told by a recruiter that it's not a deal breaker because of my experience level. But many colleagues have suggested I remain where I'm at (miserable and unappreciated - just took a $20k pay cut) for at least a year.

Does it mean anything specifically when a company/firm reposts their position? I went on a phone screen and it went really well (so I thought) and got the interview with a AmLaw200 firm. I thought the interview went okay but then 8 days later no contact and I saw that they reposted the position. I’ve had my position for almost 8 months and I’m ready to leave but that’s another story.

I am in the final steps of the interview process for an in-house position. I mentioned to the recruiter that I had unvested equity I would be leaving on the table. She said the company would take this into account and make me whole. She later asked for proof of the equity in the form of my account statement and balance, which I provided. I have not yet received an offer. Is it typical for companies to ask for this documentation if they don't intend to make the candidate an offer?
