For organizations working fully remote, is having your camera on for meetings considered a must? I recently had a meeting with my manager with my camera off, and she responded with I noticed you don’t have your camera on, would you like to reschedule? Should I really need to explain why I have my camera off? Does this really limit my conversation with her?

Folks who’ve left ClearView, how is life on the other side, and how long did you stay before you jumped ship? It’s a week where I’m burning, and the fact that I feel so isolated during it makes me want to quit consulting altogether. Would also like to talk to some of you if possible. A lot of my close friends in Tech are SWEs and are making ~400-500k / year. I am in Consulting and make ~160k/yr. I know this is already a lot and I am super privileged, but I still struggle with comparison. I have no interest in being a SWE but I still struggle with the lesser money I make.
