Pwc1 is right, don't... Look back
As with any job.. keep it cordial, don't burn any bridges, and put the same effort into wrapping up your work as before.
Walk out with dignity and with respect for everyone there regardless of what they might have put you through. You never know who you might run into again or when you might need the contact but stay humble. Good luck and enjoy the feeling of leaving a place and starting something new.
If you're asking for tips the day before you quit, you're already screwed
Your mom offered me a better job bro
One of my coworkers gave notice verbally and the partner was like "I need it in writing" and then when he (audit staff) gave it to partner in writing he got review notes from said partner: I'm going to need you to date and sign this letter. It was hilarious.
Get another job first? Otherwise, enjoy it. Don't burn bridges.
Tell the partner you enjoy working with most first. Tell each individual (manager and above) with whom you worked frequently individually and in person, if possible, before you let other staff/seniors know you're leaving. The line "I love working here but I couldn't pass up this opportunity" sounds cheesy but makes you look good (assuming you have a job lined up). Make sure to tell the people who matter that it was a pleasure to work with them, unless it was not, in which case you should thank them for the opportunity to work with them.
Went well. Told the OMP first ( my CA was on vacation all week), then told senior management And then those I worked closely with. Overall, happy with my decision!
