Guys, I am b!tches 😭

Hello Fishes,
Has anyone got call from management regarding back to office? My base location is Bangalore and management seems to be in progress of calling employees back to work approx after 18th April.
Does anyone have any idea what's the management decision about back to office? Is it confirmed or still planning?

Is there any activity on this bowl?

What does a VP/CD make in pharma?
Are you currently an AS with your other agency? If yes, getting a new job as VP, GAS would be a two title bump. Not saying it can't be done but your former agency would have to really want you.
Is the bonus eligibility in writing? What sort of bonus does your agency pay? I would calculate the difference between potential bonus and potential salary. Bonuses are not always given and the amount differs, but salary is regular, so it's usually better to fight for salary vs bonus unless the bonus is significant. For a GAS, I'd be shocked if it is that large.
A signing bonus is a nice perk, but IMO isn't a substitute for salary. I'd use it for things like lost company 401k match, or maybe compensating a bonus you expect to receive at your current agency but wouldn't be getting because you'd be leaving before it gets distributed. If you absolutely can't negotiate a higher salary or title, a signing bonus is better than nothing. If your former agency is independent, you could also try and negotiate more vacation days, or use matching vacation days as a way to justify a VP title. Usually VPs get more days off. But, be careful not to lowball yourself with VP. If they won't move on salary and have lowballed you, then you may not actually want to be a VP, because then you'd be a very low paid VP. If you're getting VP, you should be paid the VP salary.

I mean this with no snark intended but you sound a bit entitled. You seem to bank on your old agency as a sure thing but you haven’t met with them yet. Did they contact you or vice versa?
If you come to the meeting with all these expectations on what your title should be and path to promotion to ACD it may rub people the wrong way. Focus on the next level and negotiate wisely, work hard and take things as they come. A lot of people feel like they should be paid more, have better titles, etc but it’s not necessarily realistic.
I’d make sure you’re on the same page as your future CD and try to temper your expectations.
Best of luck 🤞

Ah ok, my bad then. I would negotiate hard and get everything in writing, especially the promised path to promotion for ACD. Don’t let anyone make promises and rely on them verbally. The VP title is kinda meh, some places have it but not every place does (for example i just left Havas and they have it but my current agency (McCann Health) does not). I would aim high and see what they come back with. Personally i wouldn’t take anything less than 160 for a GAS given the current climate. Good luck!
