Sure sign this crap year has still brought some positive changes:
This time last year I was already drunk pregaming for new years, weighing the most I've ever weighed in my life and super unhappy but doing a stellar job of convincing the world my life was awesome by deflecting and being the life of the party.

I’m sure someone addressed this but what is the consensus on proof of vaccination for cast and crew. I work in the commercial world and it seems to be all over the place. Client has kicked the can down to agency/production. I’m production, I say fully vaxxed. Agency producer says fully vaxxed. Overall, most crew is happy about a vax policy. I’m 4.5 years in at a regional firm. Every busy season seems to be worse than the prior and I have such an awful mood about PA/accounting...lately been struggling to even work 40 hours. When my mood is decent my job is great and I crush it, but it’s bad most of the time so I feel miserable. I can’t seem to get myself to leave though. Anyone else experience this? Any tips for making this more sustainable and keeping myself in a decent mood? I’m generally a happy guy outside of work. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've been struggling since February to get my WFH setup in a way that works for me.

I live in a 2br apartment with my partner so clearing the extra bedroom of distractions (we used it as a video and tabletop gaming room) was an easy choice.

Unfortunately my productivity is much lower than it ever was at the office. I don't really get distracted at home, but I'm not getting as much done either.

I’ve had pain and discomfort lately and visited a gyno this week. When they examined me, they mentioned a endometrial (?) cyst on my ovary that I didn’t process fully, and prescribed low-hormone BC to manage the pain. After the visit, I did research and it appears this is a late-stage result of endometriosis, which I have never been diagnosed with (no previous gynos have ever mentioned it). Has anyone had one or have experience with endometriosis? I’m concerned about my fertility (still young).

Hi. I have very low AMH, 36 years old & never have been pregnant. I have done 2 IVF cycles this year approx 5 months apart. Each time had only 2 eggs retrieved, 1 fertilization each which lead to the embryo reaching blastocyst stages both times & both came back normal after genetic testing 🤍 talk about beating the statistics odds! 🤞🏻 I now have 2 cutie embryos saved. My husband & I would love to have twins and will be speaking to my doctor about the best options. Twins thoughts?

On ttc since 2 months. I am 4 days away from my period date and I have no vaginal discharge now, it’s totally dry. I also do not have any symptoms such as breast soreness, increased urination or fatigue. Does it mean I am not pregnant this month as well?

What can I expect as a husband of someone going through IVF?

Had my second retrieval yesterday. They got three eggs and two fertilized. So far, this is the exact same thing that happened my last retrieval in January. Three total eggs, two fertilized. They weren't growing super well so we did a fresh transfer for both (and neither stuck).

Feeling a bit discouraged that the same pattern is repeating itself again. Probably will end up doing a fresh transfer for both of these embryos (again). I'm 33 with unexplained low ovarian reserve. Just sucks.

Traveled for the first time this week since COVID and got the dreaded “do you have kids?” question at team dinner. Him-“do you have kids?” Me- “No, I don’t.” Him-“Oh good! That’s the right choice!!” Me (awkwardly)- “I still have time… I’m not even 30 yet!” (Team member who knows about our 3 month and 6 month miscarriages looking on with THE saddest face) Ughhhh. He had absolutely no idea and meant well since everyone was talking about their kids but gosh…I wish this didn’t have to be a thing😩

Has anyone ever transferred abnormal embryos?

At what point do you decide to switch labs when IVF isn’t working. I’ve had one cycle so far, and 2 FETs with an AA and AB embryos (both genetically tested), and no luck yet. No underlying infertility issues (doing IVF for genetic reasons) so I’m kind of confused as to why I’m not having success. I have one AB embryo left and if that doesn’t work I don’t know if I should stick with the same RE/lab or go somewhere else? Like how do you know if it’s you or them that’s the problem?

My husband and I were set to start trying when I ovulate in a couple weeks. I didn’t get my period and a few days late (and I haven’t been late in months). I have PCOS so once I got my period back it has been consistent. So I took a test and is positive. I called my doctor, went in for a blood test and said was negative. I don’t understand what is going on. I don’t see how not pregnant, unless my pcos is flaring up again so either way just upset :/

Anyone starts their ivf stims more than 3 days past their period? Any success stories?

Experience with ectopic pregnancy? I’ve had ongoing pain near my left ovary and thought it was just ovulation pain. Was so severe that I fainted last night. Just took a positive pregnancy test now very scared it’s that or a cyst. 🧿
