Thoughts on BNP Paribas’ change and solutions team? Are the projects management consulting strategy or are they more risk and staff aug? Good exit ops? Team culture?
Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. Help needed 😭 I’m resigning from my first legal job after four years. The firm has become extremely toxic, no raise in two years (not even cost of living) “due to COVID”, and I’m just not growing. There’s four partners, one of which is my main partner, so planning on going to him. Feeling so many emotions right now and know it’s going to be even more emotional walking in and resigning. Any tips on resigning and not burning bridges? Should I be gathering all the partners to do it? TIA all 🤍
I have accepted a PRN hospice nursing position and am both excited and nervous. I start towards the end of February. Any advice from current or former hospice RN’s?
My male creative partner (copy writer) might get the boot soon. He’s lazy, slow and does not get the work done. Even when he does, it’s not very good work. We started at the same time and I recently found out he makes more $$ than me! I’m hoping to ask for a raise and want to ask for more than what he makes because I work significantly harder and produce better work. Curious what your guys’ thoughts are on how much is too much when asking for a raise? I’ll be at my company a year this summer.
I’m a WMCA that has been with Merrill 2 1/2 years and my current team 2 years and have never had a raise despite positive annual reviews. Fully paid by FA’s. Is this normal?

No idea on TC since I’m only an employee and based in Australia. Brightcove is a video software company and I love working here!
Thoughts on WLB for senior consultant in model risk management (risk/financial advisory) at Deloitte? Have 1 YOE and an offer at $125k base $15k signing bonus
My background has been primarily corporate and public company reporting (5 years). I took a role to develop some regulatory compliance experience and now I’m pretty certain I don’t want to stay in compliance. However, my role is pretty sweet with good pay, WLB (two under four at home), even though it’s not the most interesting work. I’m considering moving back into corporate and public company reporting but am concerned that the WLB is going to slip, since that’s how it’s been at my previous…
What's the advantage of moving from one big4 firm to another after say 10+ years and doing a lateral move (same dept and same level) - chances to get another promotion and more pay? You lose your network and have to start from scratch.
How much of your health insurance is covered by your employer? I make what I think is a decent salary, but my agency only pays about half our insurance costs so a lot of my take home pay gets eaten up. (I also have my family on there which isn’t their fault and doesn’t help.) Just curious to know what the standard is out there.
What is the maximum salary a manual tester with 4+ years of exp ask for? Other skills: API Testing, SQL
WFH office space—for those of us who like to have a bunch of physical copies of client files/case binders, etc., what does your storage space look like? Talking cabinets, shelving, and the like. Bonus points if you’ve figured out how to make it work in a small NY apt without feeling like you’re sitting in a sea of stacked case files
Hey 🐠 what’s the Typical % increase of base salary for promotion from manager to Senior manager at big 4?
I will be starting as an associate consultant soon at PwC (NL). I have not yet received my contract and I was wondering what I can expect as a starting base salary?

Just got a offer letter from Macquarie, gurugram of 28lpa and HR said that it was bit tough to get approval for 28lpa (though verbal approval came within 3 days ), so now I believe that I should asked for 30 lpa itself. Should I talk to HR again ? And will they agree to me, I havemt accepted the offer yet. Yoe- 8 and tech - automation testing using Selenium , role offered - assistant manager
My M & I are not vibing and I just received my first negative (informal) feedback I’ve ever received (6YOE). How can I tell if I’m just being defensive? I understand that I’m not perfect but I disagree with most that he said.
Anyone else having a hard time with account people who provide very little structure or clarity on a key project? No project timeline, plan of attack or anything. Meanwhile the clock is ticking, they’re making huge strategic choices based off instinct and there’s hardly enough time to think things through.
Throwing this out there - I've transitioned into being a client running IMO/SMO and it's 1000x better. You kickstart the value creation initiatives mapped out with corp dev and do the cool initial brainstorming, then hand it off when execution gets heavy, work very closely with BU GMs to plan product integration roadmaps and commercial integration, work with G+A leads on Day 1/2 op models, then fling all the garbage work, PMO, status reporting to consultants. 10/10 recommended becoming a client.
I’m 9 years in. Currently taking the educational requirement for CFP through American College. I feel like I can’t focus because I am not really learning anything. Any tips to keep eyes on prize?
Anybody work within the ABS space? I just received an offer for a CMBS Origination Banking Associate role, and was wondering what the hours are like. Thank you!
Do you typically work less in forensic as you move up? Asking because I’m seeing managers through partners in audit working nonstop all day everyday

Desperately want to quit my job.. been at it for 7 years straight but feel like I just need an extended break before entering industry, so don’t really want to do a LOA since I don’t want to come back to consulting.. Is it more challenging to find a new job if you don’t currently have one? Sorry if it’s a dumb question. Haven’t applied for job in quite a while
