Why do boomers assume that everyone wants to continue on the corporate rat race forever? My uncle is f500 exec and he said “you’ll be an exec one day” to me and I said “no I won’t” because that sounds absolutely miserable. His response was “have some confidence!” I’m 3 years into this slog and I feel like I’ve already wasted too much of my life staring at excel sheets for 80 hours a week waiting for someone to tell me I’m ready to be promoted and get a raise. The money ain’t worth it.

When your flight is delayed by ~30 mins, every 30 mins, for just under 4 hours. Not enough for flight delay compensation to kick in. Feels like a consultant's strategy.
