Account Management

I’m requesting my supervisor to help conduct an informal 6-month review and gather some feedback from people I work with daily in the agency. Any advice on what things they should give feedback on?

You want people to speak to the same things when giving feedback, so pick KPIs based on the performance expectations of your job. This may be volume, quality, or socially based. I would imagine that as an account manager, the execution and creative side will have thoughts on number, volume, and amount of time to complete requests. There may also be feedback on clarity of instructions.

I've seen a few models. One is requesting each individual to do a "Start, Stop, Keep Doing," where they provide one thing for you to start doing, one thing to stop doing and one thing to keep doing, all through the lens of helping you become a stronger AM. If you're using the review as leverage for a raise or promo, I've seen if phrased differently as "what does X do that makes your job easier," "what's an opportunity for X to grow," etc. Or you could do generic "what is is like working with x." I also like the open ended "if I had to know one thing about your experience working with X it would be..."
