Alpha Medical is hiring for a bunch of different roles:

Thank you for sharing, I am interested in a role at Alpha

Could it be your resume? It sounds like you're a great candidate based on your experience and responsibilities, so maybe your resume doesn't show that well enough. Hoping that you find something soon you can do from home, I'm considering trying to find a remote position too.

Optum for sure, and you might be able to find some pharma companies that are hiring for opps roles potentially too - might be worth looking into that!

I'm pretty sure Optum was hiring for a bunch of remote positions. Not sure if that's a company you'd be interested in, but it's in the healthcare industry so I figured I'd mention it. Good luck!

I work for Optum and just accepted a fully remote Analyst position. The company has MANY remote roles.

Hi all, I’m negotiating my offer for a senior SE role. I see online that average TC is around 170k TC (70/30 structure). Is it reasonable to negotiate higher? Or is the pay structure pretty rigid per level? Also, any chance you think I could negotiate for RSUs? I am in Atlanta if that helps.

So my company has slowly been pulling back on the WFH policy. And for the past six months, we’ve been offering a hybrid schedule, however; the higher-ups decided this week that we are to enforce a full return to the office by the beginning of Q4. This is not going to go over well, how do I soften the blow when explaining the new policy to the team?

Hello!
I recently had multiple interviews at a law firm. These interviews were conducted by a recruiter, a parter, and a manager at the firm. As I was doing these interviews, the other two interviews that I have done were for a different role than I originally applied for. I was wondering if this is a good thing or bad thing.

My other question is "What is your opinion on thank you email after the interviews? Should I send a thank you email?"

Thank you so much in advance!

Guess my pay.

I have 15+ years of experience.
I am an individual contributor. I do not manage people.
I have never been a manager.
My job title is "software engineer".
I have worked at multiple FANG-level companies. Currently at a FANG.
I work between 30 and 35 hours a week.
I am remote and can work from anywhere in the US.

For precision I will use my 2021 W-2 gross and include my company's 401k match.

Comment with a number and I'll tell you if my pay was above or below the number.

This weekend is my last working day @TCS.

My yoe - 10 years. Tech - Oracle apps / Fusion technical.

I have 2 offers
Capgemini (C2) and IBM (7B).

Both offered somewhat the same CTC. I was determined to join IBM. But seeing my friends on bench for the past 2 months after joining IBM is making me fear to join IBM.

Plus in IBM, I have heard people managers don't support that much in getting projects.
And also very few projects in Oracle apps in IBM.
Please suggest. @IBM Capgemini

Thanks for starting this!!

Hi, does anyone have any ideas regarding dietitan salary in Arizona (Phoenix area). I asked for several openings there, and found out several of those full time RD positions pay by salary, not hourly. Even happens in an acute care/hospital setting. I thought RD position is paid by hourly pay in a hospital, at lease from where I leave now. Is it some Arizona thing?

Currently have a hospice patient on physical therapy caseload for device recommendations to give her a better QOL in her final days. I go in to assess her and find she has a sacral ulcer. Nurse and I (the PT) agree that the patient would benefit from a ROHO cushion for her W/C. Hospice comes back and says they don’t cover cushions! This is beyond messed up. Bigger picture, this $170 cushion is probably cheaper than most items they’ve spent money on covering for her.
