I'm sick of the auditing lifestyle, but not ready to leave my firm yet. Has anyone here switched from audit to recruiting or know of others who have?

I have been on a doctors leave. I have used all of my sick day and FMLA. My school said I have to resign if doctor doesn’t release me after my appointment 5/12 my doctor wrote a lettter that said I can not go back to work and will be reevaluated Aug 15. Can tjey make me resign?

Moms that work Monday to Friday…. Are you allowed to take days off from work when your children are sick ? My employer allows 4 personal days per year. How do you manage your own sick time and your children’s ?

How do you respond to all the negativity of childless people? I get that they are not the norm and trying to defend their decisions, but I get so sick of hearing how “amazing” the personal and financial freedoms are and the good life I give up by having kids. I already feel like I took a hit to my personal career goals and this is the icing on the resentment cake. I wonder how fulfilling bar hopping is 20 years deep

Went in for a position at a top medical device company. During the interview my male interviewer asked if my “directness” comes off to strong to the doctors? He then asked the same question twice in two different ways. I asked if he meant “can I dim my light”. He said ya. I just said I know how to be strategic when it comes to my deliverance with whom I’m speaking to. I felt his question was misogynistic and quite condescending truly. I’m a woman in outside sales with a type A personality.

My CEO whom I work closely with is a complete narcissist. When she speaks to me it’s so condescending and rude it’s making me sick. I thought I was hiding it well but apparently I’ve gotten to the point where I am visibly stressed. A colleague asked was I okay after our teams meeting yesterday. Hi Fishes, This is in regards with my resignation. I have resigned on 22nd March (LWD : 22 June ) on medical grounds. Since then, my hr has asked for my prescriptions and medical certificates to give me an early release. But yesterday, She is stating that my lwd is revised to 18th April with a clause that since my release is on medical grounds I can't join any other orgs before 22june. Hi what is the salary banding for CL10 senior analyst, and how does getting a pay rise work. Does the company give you an annual rise based on performance review (even if you don't get promoted to CL9) or do you have to jump a career level to get the bump in pay?

I am bad at negotiating, I just got my yearly raise, its 3.2% which is pretty low. I know I am already under paid, and I have proven myself, and continuing to provide myself (I got 3 recognition awards just within the last year). I would like about a $15k increase which will put me at just over midian range for my job SAFe RTE. But my boss kinda wants me to be happy with a small ish bonus (7k and after tax its just about half in my bank account). Wondering what would others do in my situtuation?
