Hello all, I have an offer from Quantiphi and another famous travel company which is building a technical arm for themselves. Both the companies are offering same compensation. HRs are calling for offer acceptance. I am leaning towards Quantiphi as the culture is well known to me. But I have to decide soon. Should I accept both the offers and then decline one at the time of joining. I am new to this and find this a little unethical. Can someone help?

So, just to make sure I understand, you're sick of your career and want to go recruit others into misery of their own?
^wins the night
I know several people who have done this at EY and they all seem happy with their decision :)
I like the firm way more than I like auditing. But I don't know that I would want to do recruiting either.
I know some peeps
I really want to switch over to recruiting!
How is the salary/hours in comparison? And what was their level when they switched?
^i really want to know the same
I've thought about this before.
Knew someone who did this, but she only lasted a year in the recruiting role. Too much travel away from her husband
I know 1 person who switched from tax to recruiting and 1 audit to recruiting. One was a staff 2 about to be senior, other was a manager. Both are very happy with their choice, but they were surprised how much work it is. Like still busy season type long hours, especially fall and spring. Salary, I'm not sure how the audit manager compared, but I know the tax staff 2 said it's about the same had she made senior, and she came in as an attorney so her salary was a little higher. My guess is 75k because I know what she was making at staff 2.
Recruiters definitely make much less than the client facing service lines. Have you considered transferring to another service line like advisory?
The hours are definitely still ~60 when they're attending events but I think they have a good bit of down time. Not sure how much of a pay cut they took though
