Wtf is a table for 3? You sitting at a triangle?

If they attempt to consume the entire table with their stuff then yes... otherwise, don’t be an ass

This is normal. Could have been a little bit more polite if they had asked if the seats were taken 🤷🏻‍♀️.

It’s a common area - not your hotel room.

Oh come on...

Yeah just be nice and let them sit. It’s rude to not let other people take the seats (especially when lounge is getting full)

Awkward and they should have asked before sitting but unfortunately unless you reserved the table like at a restaurant it’s not really yours 🤷🏼‍♀️ Especially if the place is filling up and no other open seats

Probably not from ‘merica

What’s the problem? And I’m an American

Obviously not a gentleman if he didn’t politely as if it was ok to sit down

... just straight up took the two open seats at my table. Is this normal? Am I justified in saying “this is my table please find another place to sit”? Not trying to be a jerk but genuinely curious if this is normal behavior.

What would you do? Have a flight to JFK and there’s a J train that takes me straight to the air train to the terminal (cost would be $10.50) or take an Uber to JFK (cost would be like $72.60). I’m a woman and would need to leave around 9AM. Tbh I feel unsafe riding the subway for so long but maybe a weekday at 9AM won’t be so bad? Have been wfh so haven’t been using the subway. Have anxiety reading the news with crazies on subway tho.
