My agency leadership signed up to do the impossible for my client, put me on the hook to deliver it, and everyone who was there for the pitch-promises have run for the hills and are nowhere to be seen while I’m here holding the bag and struggling to deliver on the smoke and mirrors they sold. Key staff were laid off.
I feel abandoned and overwhelmed. It’s tempting to just let it all fail except then I know everyone would point to me. But still, tempting.

hey, I joined Deloitte in June 2020 as an GPS SA analyst, I just staffed on internal project only providing me adjusted utilization. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? My target promotion year on TOD is 2022. My manager said we might sell to client and extend this project in September but nothing guaranteed.

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. Reason: project I was allocated not good and I initially rejected project but they forcefully moved to the project.I have asked multiple times to replace the project after that I have resigned.
Now manager is threatening me that I will be placed under no hire to IBM.
