Damn even the priest didn't judge me this hard after I confessed all my sins
Dude. It was the same people before the era of apps. The only difference is that you could weed them out faster pre app rather than having to wait to meet in person now.

Lol @ some of the comments. You'd think this is a confession in a confession bowl...
I mean….did you meet like 20 years ago? My fiancé and I met on Tinder 8 years ago. They’ve been around forever lmao.

Ok so you met before apps? And if you were dating now you would most likely, check out an app soooooo what’s your point?
It’s like when people say “I remember when we didn’t have cell phone in our hands all the time!” Well you had newspapers and other forms of “tech”

Yes, dating apps are a drag but so is dating “in real life.” I have met ridiculous people on apps and in real life situations. I’ve also met great people both ways.
One advantage of apps is that you know the other person is interested in you. In real life, I had many experiences where I thought a guy was also into me, but he apparently just saw me as a friend. If I’m meeting up with someone I met on an app, I know they are at least marginally interested/attracted to me.
My ex and I were in a ltr and he ended things as he wanted to see what else was out there, mainly via the app world 🤦♀️
