I’m starting a women’s group (the first one ever) at my company with a colleague of mine. Since this happens to be February that we are starting this up I would be remiss if I didn’t address badass black women, I’m putting together resources including books, podcast, nonprofits to donate and support, articles to read (mainly around black women and tech to keep it relevant to our industry). Thoughts on anything to add/tips? Any guidance would be amazing as I don’t have any from HR really.

I’m currently an associate product manager and have been for a little over a year. It feels like I check all the product manager boxes and have really learned the ins and outs, I now own an entire feature and i’m the only one who owns it. Anyone has gotten I-485 approval without I-485j receipt. My I-485j was filed with other documents for which I have recipes receipts but there hasn’t been one for I-485j. I am reading on trackitt and telegram groups that you can get an approval without this receipt. Any cases here?

I have interview on coming Wednesday for the position of Salesforce Marketing cloud developer so anybody have any idea like what type of questions Cognizant Can ask me.

I'm interested in an open role at Google; the description mentions several in-office locations, one of which is in the city I live in. It also notes only one remote location- LA, California.

Does this mean working fully remote or even hybrid is not an option if not located in Cali? I know work preference can be discussed during the interview stage (if one gets to that point) but looking for insight on this.

Looking for a social service job. I have an associate degree with two years of experience.

Any advice for negotiation? I made the mistake of accidentally letting slip my current salary and now I’m in final rounds at Facebook and the salary that was disclosed to me by the recruiter is lower than expected and now they’re saying it’s essentially non-negotiable? I don’t have the job yet, so I didn’t ask too many questions, but I’m worried I won’t have much leverage when the time comes.

I am a POC working on 2 projects at once. Both of my teams are largely comprised of POC. For one project, there is huge political pressure to deliver a program that will benefit citizens and the client started late — constantly fighting fires and asking us to do more and more work in shorter periods of time. This AM, my Partner asked to remove me from that project after I have worked several nights overtime and supporting my juniors because I didn’t respond to his message after 8pm.
