I stayed put in NYC. Work keeps me busy during the week, so on weekends if the weather is nice I go on long walks and try to visit a new essential business each time (e.g. a Japanese grocery store, a coffee shop open for takeout, etc.). It's not much, but it's enough to lift my mood significantly and make me feel less trapped.
I also stayed put in Brooklyn. Going out for a walk around the block without my phone a couple times a day does wonders.
I’ve been egging cars and toilet papering neighbors’ homes at night. I’ve never felt so alive!
I just wank my heart out
Twice today and it's only 11:15
I got skateboarding around my hood at 3pm and again at 6pm.
Go not got.
Lots of cooking. Lots of creative projects. Gardening. Reading aloud with my daughters. Organizing. Walking the dog. Meditation. Cocktails and medicinal herbs. Virtual happy hours. Researching my future.
Lots of house projects. Lots of walks and hikes. Lots of cooking. Lots of sex. And plenty of sleeping in since there’s no longer a commute.
The husband gets a bit more stir crazy than I do, he’s added a bit more mileage to his runs.
Jealous you have a yard. I have but a tiny little fire escape 😂
Working with a theater group that's doing virtual table reads of classics. Honestly, it's very relaxing.
Could also be the most copywriter thing ever. It’s also quite a theatre thing, isn’t it.
Landscaping. I busted up extraneous concrete with a sledgehammer yesterday. Very satisfying. Never say you can’t do something. You can.
Wine. Large.
Learn to play guitar. In less than a year you’ll spend thousands on the hobby finding your tone. It’s called self care.
Sitting on my balcony reading a good book when work lets up a bit (its always sunny in Singapore so that helps), plus a daily 2hr jog, lots of wine and a bit of PS4!
I have gone back k to running every night. And a daily trip to the coffee shop to get my coffee gao
Running, weight lifting, planting some herbs, making cocktails with those herbs.
Enjoying my time, but wished I lived in an area where hiking trails were still open

Walking at least five miles per day + chasing after my two-year-old son.
I’m in the burbs too. I sneak out night to toilet paper my neighbors’ homes and egg cars. I’ve never felt so alive!

Do a virtual Paint and Sip with your friends!
Depends on what your preference is, acrylic is very forgiving, very tactile. Water colors are very soft and flowy. I got a kit (paints, canvas and brushes included) to see what I liked. Maybe that’s a good place to start for you too?
My husband is redoing the front deck. I’m doing projects around the house as well as taking some graphic design classes, as deck design has always been a weak point. And all the Prosecco. And I am having a lot of fun with Zumba classes- something is be too scared to try at my gym.
