I'm starting to hate the word "client." It's starting to sound weird to me now. You know, like when you say a word multiple times. Client. Client. Client. Get it?

I work for a 3PL Supply Chain company as a Project Manager. I’m receiving a promotion in the next few month and looking for some input/guidance on salary expectation. I’m at the base level for PM and moving to Sr. PM. Base salary right now is around $75k. What is a reasonable ask and expectation for salary in the new role? Supply chain degree w 4 years experience.

I joined ACN as an experienced hire a few months ago and it’s not what I expected. I’ve worked as a consultant before but more integrated at clients and could follow through on projects, whereas now it feels like everything just ends up in a PowerPoint.
I had a slow start without any project for a couple of months so I applied for other jobs and got an offer from a big tech company.

I feel bad to even consider leaving after so short time and not really giving it a fair chance.
Any advice?

More context: Junior at a V10. Fancy-client-name work is more mundane. More substantive experience is available working on smaller clients. Wondering about both in-house and lateral exit options.

I love when your project leader tell you to make XYZ revisions on Friday, you do that over the wknd, then come back Monday to find they’ve forgotten what they said last week AND have the opposite POV now 🤡

Think it would be a compliance issue to purchase my own island say in Maine or Washington and secede from the US? I could generate my own electricity use Starlink for internet and with a small population I’m sure we could get by on foreign aid. Basically the US version of Sealand but a little nicer on the eyes.

I have a 7 mo, 8 lb cavapoo. She is so close to being potty trained but we can’t get past the line. She will go 3-4 days without an accident, and then will have 1 or 2 accidents 2 days in a row. The accident is always her pooping, and its usually if we miss her time. Seems like she has to poop 4-5 times a day. When will she gain bladder control, esp given that my wife and I will have to go back into the office at some point?!
