Burn all your shit. You don’t want to take this back home with you.
Dude you don’t want to bring them home, definitely go to a dry cleaner and get it all your clothes cleaned. Take off everything you’re wearing and get all new clothes (shoes and even suitcase) - get it cleaned and quarantined at least a month. Definitely ask SPG to pay for it and document everything in case you have to take it up a notch. Bed bugs are no joke and brutal to get rid of.
Which hotel /city OP
^ biggest travel fear....
Which Sheraton?
Seriously get rid of all your stuff. Make spg pay for it.
Yeah agree with above - those guys can follow you home and spread. You’ll need to dry your clothes on high to kill them. Not sure what to do with your Tumi...
Ummmm you need like $2000 cash because you need basically throw everything away
You do not need to throw everything away. You need to wash your clothes and dry them on high heat to kill everything. You need to have your bag steam cleaned. Check all your other stuff very closely (books, laptop, etc)
OP: Property and city? Please!!
Plot twist: OP is a disgruntled ex-employee from Sheraton seeking to disparage the brand as revenge for a bad performance review.
Bites in groups of 3? They take 2 days to appear. Make sure you were at property for 2 days. Yes, document everything. Had this happen to me at sh*t Hilton in middle Illinois. They accused me of bringing the bugs in! After 2nd guest complaint they fell all over themselves apologizing- and giving beaucoup points.
Sorry it was the Sheraton Great Valley in King of Prussia (names are easy to mix up)
They aren’t going to give you money. But I would expect that they refund your stay and give you points equivalent to your stay (whatever it would cost in points to stay). If you think there’s any chance you could’ve brought some home, make them pay for an inspection of your home and any extermination, if required, and associated costs (like lodging). Good luck.
Also, if I were you, I’d leave my bag sealed in a double garbage bag outside my house for like 4-6 weeks if I couldn’t get it steam cleaned

This happened at the Sheraton Valley Forge in King of Prussia, PA. They've sent all my clothes, suitcase to the cleaners and gave me money to get new clothes for today so I can go home. They're going to overnight my stuff to me. The manager actually saw the bug on my bed but the exterminator will come to check the room and then they're going to talk to me about compensation. What's a reasonable number of points to expect? I spent two nights in that room and have over 25 bite marks.
Hopefully if you took pictures of the bug and your bites.
I feel $1000 is fair
