My science GPA is 3.4 and my overall GPA is currently 2.7 cause I transferred schools. I still have one more semester to go besides this one. I’ve been working really hard for a number of years, struggled to put myself through undergrad and MBA, struggled to fit in and succeed in consulting, fighting for promotions and scholarships...and I still feel so behind (still saving for a downpayment, can’t afford to live without a roommate). I’m on the cusp of a large promotion. My path has been fast with strong supporters. While I’m grateful, there’s always a nagging feeling. My husband is supportive — but not entirely comfortable with my success — and sometimes I question is it worth it. I’m exhilarated and exhausted. Some days there are dreams of taking a pay cut and going back to an IC role. Is the stress worth it?
