Payment plan, personal loan, early 401(k)/IRA distribution, borrow money from parents, hit on her friends, kited check, fake money order, mail back an empty envelope, credit card advance.

You can also take a 401k loan- no credit check, interest paid to yourself, not reported to credit agencies

Sounds like you should make a budget and a plan.

I didn’t have financial difficulties but I still asked for a payment plan for monies I owed to my firm when I left. They agreed straight away. This was before I left, but I would think you could ask them.

You can ask the firm for a payment plan. I had one.

For clarification, what are your options regarding what? Leaving within your first six months (probation period)?

I already left and now I have to pay it back but I can’t afford it right now.

You couldn't wait the period out? I wonder if they would pursue litigation if you just tossed the letter? Anyone dealt with that?

They definitely do pursue. Minimal legal fees as it is handled in house.

I would send a nice email to them explaining your situation. I did the same with PwC and they wiped it out

How do people save for a down payment on a house? My SO and I make a combined 130k salary, currently rent a 1br apt for $2250/mo, have other debts of 600/mo and 15k in savings. Neither of us have been able to save much since we started to rent the apt (6 months ago). I want to stop "wasting" money on rent and build equity in a home, lay down roots, start a family, but I feel I/we will never be able to save enough for a down payment (NY prices, 400-500k). Starting to feel hopeless &stretched thin

Hi folks,

There are only a few reviews on glassdoor and abitionbox to consider them authentic (maybe fake reviews).

Does anyone have any idea about these companies? Or what do you suggest.

Current - Valuelabs, 4 yoe, 12.5L ctc, Nodejs Backend

Appreciate your help. Thanks.

How are the usual salary?

Hey, would really like some advice here.

Recently graduated and am looking for full time roles. I've had four different internships, the last two in tech, and I've been doing marketing, specifically Product Marketing and looking for full time roles there. I was recently offered a role as a Product Marketing Associate - the team members sound great and responsibilities sound really up my alley, but they are locked in at 50k. I understand I'm a new grad and all, but is this a low-ball offer?

Is anyone familiar with filial responsibility laws? I have major doubts that my in-laws have enough saved for retirement / it seems they are planning to rely on SS despite currently living a pretty lavish lifestyle (brand new house, luxury cars, routine spa appointments, expensive dinners, etc.). I’ve heard of cases in PA (luckily we don’t live there), but what about other states? Also, I’m assuming if things go south at the end they can rely on Medicaid for long term care?

When he sent the confirmation email it stated Angular/Java. I told him that I don’t have much Java skills. He then sent this (pic) as a response. 🤔🤔🤔
When I spoke to the client she had no idea why the recruiter added angular react as it was just a Java developer position, Completely wasted so much time

I have a question for those who prep individual tax returns. My parents claim my grandfather as a dependent on their tax return and due to their low income, receive PTC for the premiums they pay on his insurance (not eligible for medicare). However, would it be advantageous to have him file for his own tax return (he stays with my parents and doesn't have his own proof of residency via bills). If so, can he get PTC if his income is 0?
