I booked a hotel for vacation a few weeks ago, and I just saw the same room on a booking website about $50/night cheaper. I thought "wow what a great deal!" and cancelled my existing booking and rebooked on the other website.

Well it turns out that the other website was in USD and my original booking was in CAD, and instead of saving $50/night I ended up spending $75/night extra.

My company won't give my designer the art director title she deserves because of the association of the word "director". I've explained to them an AD isn't a director level job like a CD is, but they're just so hung up on the word that they're not budging, saying that her having a title with the word "director" would be confusing for some. I quit my job as an AM at an agency I worked at for 3+ yrs to be an AD. I was overworked, stressed, not getting paid at the level I felt I deserved, but I was comfortable, however I still left. I took the first job offer I received and now regret it. My main concern when I read the JD was that I felt very under qualified but I still got the offer 2 days later (which concerned me how quick it happened).
