Why not shoot for HSW if you were valedictorian at KPMG

There are a few outside organizations like Aga Khan and George Soros Foundation that provide scholarships but they typically give post you getting into an MBA.
Usually the best way is to just get in and then fill out a needs based application once you get in. That’s the common path.

I phrased it incorrectly. Yes, I meant most people pay through loans supplemented with some scholarship. Very few people pay upfront from their personal or family funds.
As valedictorian, I presume your GPA is close to perfect. Bring a 740+ GMAT or GRE equivalent and you can get some scholarship from the school. Darden, especially, will pay for high GMATs and offers specific scholarships for those with killer stats.
Beyond that, make sure your values align with the programs and that you connect with students/alumni to show your commitment to the schools in the application.
