When you're wanting to schedule some PTO but the timing is never right and you can't figure it out if it'll hurt you. Any tips?
My former PM actually told me he rolled off my team because I wouldn't reschedule my PTO. I had this PTO scheduled since June. Another person took 3 weeks of PTO and she was retained. Unethical?
When your friends schedule a holiday party at 830pm specifically so you can make it and you still don't make it 😓
Can we bring extra guest to the holiday party? How does that work? Is pwC strict on the guest list?
PTO Tip: Take PTO the last 2 weeks of November and December. Also take the1st week of January. Unlikely you get picked up the first weeks of December and holidays aren't PTO days #thetwoforonespecial
Toughest Consulting Break-Up: Informing your hotel front desk and coffee barista that today is the last day. Holiday Roll Offs.
When the front desk says "Only Accenture is traveling here this week." 😩 Holiday season is here.
Cheesy client holiday t-shirt reads, "Now watch me sip...on chardon-nay-nay." Welcome to the holidays folks 😐🔫
Travel day 🙌🏼 but still another 2 cities before Holiday PTO that was suppose to start the 14th!
Any holiday travelers? Where are you headed?
What's the longest you've sat on the bench? For me it was almost 3 months and I got promoted that year. I don't have a need to ever use my vacation days....
Definitely checked this app less often since my PTO started a few days ago, but Happy Holidays and Very Merry Christmas fellow consultants!
I am currently abroad on vacation with my family and everyone always likes to ask what I do. By God, I try to avoid this question so hard as I still do not know how to answer it.
Just rolled out of bed and found out that people actually work today. Wasn't today a holiday? 🤔 *rolls back into bed*
Does anyone else find the clickety-clack of a PlayStation controller unbelievably annoying? Or am I just *checks calendar* about to get my period...
Did you all see this?
How was manufacturing effected because of the Corona virus? Here In China we basically already lost 2 months, one for Chinese Nee Year holidays and one for the virus.
I went to an interview at another investment bank. At the end of the interview the interviewer said "good luck" is that bad? Am I overthinking it?
I just accepted a Contract position at MSFT. I left a FTE job to take a chance on joining my dream company. Anyone here gone from being contractor to FTE? I will be working as a Azure VMware Support Engineer.
Individual contributors that made the switch to people/project management, are you happy? Thinking about switching from IC for better financial prospects, worried it will eat my soul
Lol Amazon is killing it on LinkedIn these days. Why even wait to PIP when you can pre-PIP?

All I want is to find a guy who shares my desire to be professionally ambitious and is reasonably attractive. Why is that so hard? 🙃
What’s it’s like working at EY tax? I heard they recently fired a bunch of people. Got an offer but not sure if I should make the move.
Tax question: on the 1099 Div form I have some nondividend distributions noted. I know it's used to reduce your cost basis and only after the cost basis has been reduced to zero, any further distribution is subject to capital gain. However, how do I figure out whether the cost basis has been reduced to zero or not in this case. The company went through some acquisition activity and during that process, the stocks were liquidated and funds returned. Anyone with insights?

I’m in the interview process for a job in the Netherlands and they’re asking for my salary expectations. I know that I may not get the full salary equivalent of what I’m getting in the states, but is there a percentage of the salary I should aim for? One reddit thread said 66% of US salary, for example
