Waited for the first schedule change over 61 minutes on AA and then requested a refund. Thankfully I hadn't booked anything else yet. Still have an Alaskan cruise in Sept that is TBD. Big payment is coming up in May.

Similar situation and Delta made it super easy to just cancel and get a refund (was going to Europe in late May).

Same situation, Delta and AA made it super easy to get my money. Singapore Airlines on the other hand ☹️☹️☹️

While I have a mid June trip to South Carolina. I absolutely would not be heading to Europe until at least July or later.

Tax question: on the 1099 Div form I have some nondividend distributions noted. I know it's used to reduce your cost basis and only after the cost basis has been reduced to zero, any further distribution is subject to capital gain. However, how do I figure out whether the cost basis has been reduced to zero or not in this case. The company went through some acquisition activity and during that process, the stocks were liquidated and funds returned. Anyone with insights?
