I'm sure this has been covered but does anyone know the typical bonus rates for PwC public sector experienced associate?

That seems to be the case in public sector. The work doesn't seem to change much or quickly so it's very easy to get pigeon holed.

like

On that note, how's the public sector practice at PwC? At D, it's long term and you get pigeon holed constantly.

Deloitte, I got offered a job by your public sector last year. The partner who offered it just transferred over to PwC. Solid dude.

That's interesting to know. We've smart people but stagnant projects and skill development doesn't seem to be a priority to the leadership. What's a comparable role for a 2nd year Sr. Con at PwC?

Also, sorry for hijacking the thread OP.

OP - i didn't know public sector is different. Deloitte1 - you'd probably come in as a senior and then set your sights on manager soon

Currently a 1.5 year tenure Consultant in Deloitte GPS RFA. Just received an offer from Guidehouse for $82K, a $16K salary boost from what I make currently. I am not up for a promotion to SC at this point. I've also heard Deloitte benefits are better, but would anyone have opinions on whether I should take the job?

Hi Guys, Have 7 years of experience in IT. Just wondering to know if you've an offer from an employer with a Associate Manager Position but the company pay is less than what you earn now. Also, the next employer waited for 5-6 months and in those months your compensation went beyond their offer , what would you do in this situation? Would you negotiate with next employer? Question came in because the next position is Associate Manager but currently I'm working as an engineer. Any suggestions?

Salary question: 8th year attorney on transactional real estate and public law. Jumped around a bit on my resume but solid and well liked attorney. Located in Los Angeles. Several job offers incoming. Offers are about $200k, small bonus potential ($5-16k per year), 1850 billable requirement. Thoughts?

I'm considering a job change from my well regarded commercial litigation firm to a more relaxed, WFH ID firm. My current billable requirement is 2000, but for partnership it seems to be 2200+. There's no work from home, and there's an old fashioned dress code. I like the complexity of the work I do, but I don't want to kill myself to make a living. Plus, my current salary is below market, so a move would come with a significant raise. Is it crazy to give up prestige for a better life?

Just got an offer at Deloitte. Feel like comp/rank are too low due to lack of diversity of interviewers. :( Can anyone relate?

Hey Everyone! Hope everyone's safe and well :) So I wanted to get an advice on a work related stuff. I have gotten an amazing opportunity in the past and am still getting offers now but the thing is I join a company and then in 6 months or so my mind automatically diverts to look for another opportunity with better salary. Its not that I don't like the work or the company but psychological I feel there's always better opportunities out there and I switch often. How do I not think about it? ✌

After when we nicely tell her “honey you really need to try to poop on the potty” she screams at us “nooooo!!!” What am I supposed to do? She starts preschool in the fall and this is going to be an even bigger problem.
