I’m taking the Network + exam in 3 weeks.
I’m using a udemy course but I don’t feel confident yet. Anyone know of some tools to use to help pass? I’ve looked at different boot camps and crash courses but I’m overwhelmed and want to ensure I’m studying the correct Materials

Do you have any relevant experience with networks or network engineering?

Having done network engineering for 20+ years, I took the test without any prep, and used what I already knew from experience to pass it. From registering for the test to completion, only 72 hours passed.

That said, if you’re a bookworm, you may nail the theory part, but it all depends really on what you already know…

Highly recommend Professor Messer videos! All the videos are free and he charges a small fee if you want a copy of notes. The videos are relatively short in length and easy to understand.

Monday Morning rumination: unsolicited advise is criticism.

Much to reflect on with this topic. Last week I was told in a 1:1 with a new contact that I was “too direct”. After some time chewing on the conversation I was struggling to place the emotions I was feeling. Turns out I was feeling guilty and shame for being me, for taking up space. Lesson of the week: unsolicited advice is a criticism of you, a micro aggression of who you are, and being “too much”. What would you do??

I’ve always thought that I’m a decent human who cares about ppl I work with through my actions. got a reality check with only average response for LOOP where just 1 of many ppl that submitted cared to share detailed feedback. Since it is a longer projects working togethr for abt 1yr, with this being the only LOOP during it, suddenly I feel this is representative of their true perception of me. As a team I’ve had their backs in leadership discusions n feedbck, bt now I feel disappointed n annoyed

I am pregnant with my 2nd and my job is very demanding. First trimester was bad for me with my first pregnancy and I took 2 months unpaid personal leave.
I can't afford that now and cannot risk my job. Not in public accounting anymore. I work in SEC reporting at a pharmaceutical company.

I am so thankful to be working from home for sure. I am just really dreaded to turn on my computer everyday with this hell of a morning sickness.
