I’ve always thought that I’m a decent human who cares about ppl I work with through my actions. got a reality check with only average response for LOOP where just 1 of many ppl that submitted cared to share detailed feedback. Since it is a longer projects working togethr for abt 1yr, with this being the only LOOP during it, suddenly I feel this is representative of their true perception of me. How important is it to validate computer science engineers' university degrees in the USA? I have seen many employers that don’t require it when hiring, but probably some of them reject applicants because they got the degree abroad.

Is it always a good idea to let your prospective employer know about your non-compete? My prospective employer is in a different industry and not in the list of companies the current employer consider competing.

On their application it asks for a yes/no for if I have a non-compete signed. I answered it honestly and said yes, but regret this may turn the prospective employer off from going any further in the process when in reality I should be able to work for them without any issues.
