Cute, but who leaves by 3pm?😳

👍🏻, but because it’s labeled consulting humor, the first instinct is to assume the guy in it is a consultant. Took a few passes to figure out he’s the client. Can you make it more obvious from the start that he’s a client? Ps- you draw way better than I ever could!

funny

🤷🏽‍♂️ art looks alright and like the humor. I would read more but I feel I haven’t seen enough to say much else..

Moar

The person is a consultant 🤷‍♀️

I really want to have another baby... Bio clock is running out. I have two kids in school, one with special needs. I'm already struggling to stay ahead with work and family responsibilities. I’m 27 and feel like I’m falling behind. Everyone is either getting engaged, married, buying a house, or having a baby. Essentially moving on, and I’m not sure what to do. I feel like wallowing in pity, but I know if I want something I should work towards it instead of complaining. I just feel so lost, and wanted to vent.

Anyone else randomly get mad at something that happened to you as a kid? For example, I was in a meeting this afternoon and out of nowhere, I reminded myself of my Little League days when my coach embarrassed me in front of my team for being the first baseman who couldn’t afford a first baseman’s glove. I mean I was playing the field just fine with a Nomar Garciaparra glove that was a little too small for my hand 🤷‍♂️

I found out today that my employer doesn’t offer any paid parental leave (maternity or paternity). This isn’t a major issue now, but my wife and I are planning on trying in a year or so from now. How many other employers don’t offer any paid leave at all? Coming from public accounting this seemed outrageous to me, but curious to see what other companies are like.

Cross posting this but could use the female perspective — Got a really substantial (~40%) mid year raise after I brought in a basically unsolicited competing offer from one of our peers. My firm typically only adjusts salary on an annual basis in March, and I’m pretty worried I’ll see a smaller than normal annual raise this spring to “make up for” my out of sequence mid year raise. Any advice on advocating for myself to ensure that doesn’t happen?
