Not in that group, but I work in tax at eisner, really like the team. Pay and wlb is pretty comparable to other large mid-size firms. People I work with from out-sourced accounting are generally good knowledgeable people.

FYI the whole firm is PE backed, including audit and tax.

Isnt Eisner already in its summer busy season?

Team is great when I worked there hours are horrible. If you want no life go then. Otherwise go B4 same hours better pay better people

Have virtual interviews tomorrow and Friday (both with same company) - I know 150% if I got an offer, I would not accept. What are experienced tax SM's getting for their comp these days? Started at one firm as a new SM around 140 in 2018. New offer is 200 at mid-size firm with the same title. HCOL area east coast (not NYC).

Any CPAs here that studied and took the GMAT after licensure? Currently looking into prep paths for it, am interested to hear perspective from someone who took both on how you prepped for it compared to CPA. After the hell of passing all 4 CPA exams what I've read so far about the GMAT honestly makes it sound fairly straightforward in comparison, but I don't want to let my CPA ptsd influence me into underestimating it if it's way more demanding than it looks on the surface.
