Tell me you’re ADHD without telling me you are ADHD.
I currently work 2 full time jobs & a pt contractor for 2 years and I’m currently on the verge of burnout and confused on career growth.

I’m professionally excelling in all work areas and have been promoted in all work areas at least once over the past 2 years.

The issue is I find myself as a director of marketing (I over see 8 offices & a team of 7), Sales Client Partner, and Manager Administrator of Web/App Development

How do I grow?

Where do you WANT to grow?

What is the work that you find easiest to get yourself to do - and is therefore probably the most interesting to you to work on?

And are you working all of those jobs out of necessity (like financial?) or to prove something? Or to avoid something?

Yep this is me to a T. I have had sooooo many different jobs and I can never just do one thing. It somehow seems to give me structure thorughout the week and that is something I really need.

My husband's been smoking for almost 15 years and can't stop. He tried vaping but didn't like various side effects. Any time I bring up him quitting he either ignores me and leaves the house to go smoke or gets angry, screams at me and says I'm not helping him. He did try patches and gum for a day and didn't like them. We've been together for 14 years and are thinking about having a baby. Should I just accept the fact that he will get cancer and die while putting me and our child through pain?

Prior to the ADHD diagnosis I battled with a panic disorder for about the last decade and was prescribed xanax. However my doc didn’t feel comfortable with both scripts so I no longer (cont)

Looking for advice/input:

I’ve dealt with ADHD my entire life, although was just diagnosed last year. Throughout my career (assurance>industry>consulting), I’ve been able to “outwork” everyone else in the office to counter the lack of focus and other associated faux pas associated with the disorder. Recently have hot a point where I can’t put in the hours (3 yo/fam), and my work has taken a major hit. Anyone in consulting/assurance have any methods for managing this when it comes to PM duties?

My ADHD has been a massive barrier for me in my career. I can’t stay at a job for more than 1.5 years.

My ADHD keeps me from being a consistently great performer. When I manage my ADHD, I am amazing. And when I fail to manage it, I fall short. And everyone then wonders why I can’t do my basic job responsibilities.
It’s frustrating. I am V qualified, talented and capable, but this thing is killing me. Everyone I know is getting ahead and I’m constantly struggling even though I’m ambitious.
