How do you navigate getting a referral on a platform like this? Genuinely curious on if HR/Recruiting asks how you know the person you're referring, or if they don't care where the referral comes from.
Really interested in a junior PM role at ο»ΏRazorfishο»Ώ. A close friend currently works for a different ο»ΏPublicisο»Ώ org, so not sure if a referral from them would mean anything.
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. Iβve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.

It's true your salary is less but don't compare your salary with others. Try to learn new skills and enhance existing ones, set short term goals and long term goals.
Simultaneously, start attending interviews. It will increase your knowledge.
CTC is just a figure, your knowledge matters in the industry. If you're knowledgeable, companies will ready to pay high salary.
Keep faith and believe yourself.
Don't feel depressed. Everyone has it's own journey. You will reach there. Keep on trying.
I felt the same so i applied to another MNC. After I got a offer, i resigned. Now I'm serving notice period and holding 3 offer. I suggest you to do the same. All it takes is one week to prepare. If you switch you can easily get 100% Hike minimum
Don't feel depressed, use it as fuel to prepare for interviews and try to get more than your friend. and when he askes tell him a little less, so you get your new job + your friendship is still intact.
