On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you?
Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.

It's true your salary is less but don't compare your salary with others. Try to learn new skills and enhance existing ones, set short term goals and long term goals.
Simultaneously, start attending interviews. It will increase your knowledge.
CTC is just a figure, your knowledge matters in the industry. If you're knowledgeable, companies will ready to pay high salary.
Keep faith and believe yourself.
Don't feel depressed. Everyone has it's own journey. You will reach there. Keep on trying.
I felt the same so i applied to another MNC. After I got a offer, i resigned. Now I'm serving notice period and holding 3 offer. I suggest you to do the same. All it takes is one week to prepare. If you switch you can easily get 100% Hike minimum
Don't feel depressed, use it as fuel to prepare for interviews and try to get more than your friend. and when he askes tell him a little less, so you get your new job + your friendship is still intact.
Bro if u will get onsite naa u can compensate ur frds CTC in few months hardly 3 months...i have seen folks getting anxious that their frds are switching but remember bro it u stay longer in a company they will definitely give u opportunities
I had same feelings , but at the end within one year I see myself way beyond what they have.
And nothing was planned , but i did reached there .
It takes time , but trust me you will be in better place .
