Well there are lots of jobs they say they are 40 hours a week but aren’t. So be sure as you can be that it is true.

Money could be an issue when starting a family but the trade off is also more free time with the family. Or marry up...

I would think as long as you keep your CPA current every year then you should be alright to come back into the accounting world.

One of the things I'm worried about is that the lower pay may hinder me in the future if I want to start a family or something. is it hard to get back into accounting after I take a break from it?

Also, for those boomerangs out there, did anyone boomerang back but with a different practice? If I want to boomerang back, then I know I don't want to boomerang back to tax.

Are you a CPA? If so, shouldnt be hard to boomerang but it will hinder your progression. Like if you leave a senior and are out of PA for 4 years, they might hire you as an associate.

Cancel tomorrow and Friday interviews or no cancel and potentially get an offer and decline?
