Mass Mutual: how’s comp? Culture?Thoughts?
Hi everyone! Curious if anyone here works for Slack and can shed a little light on the culture and perhaps offer a referral for an associate brand manager position I just saw on LinkedIn. With the Salesforce acquisition are SF employees allowed to refer for Slack roles? Currently a senior analyst with 4 YOE looking to break into a branding role! Thanks in advance.
Any good ATL diner suggestions this time of day?

1) IMO, office culture has declined quite a bit in the US since most people WFH now. That said I know there are groups of people from the SF office who are friends and routinely hang out outside of work
2) In general, I think WLB is solid in NA. ~50 hours per week (or so) with higher peaks around major read outs
3) Really like all the SIM partners I’ve worked with. SIM works with a lot of fantastic companies but I think a lot of the projects are substantially similar (pricing and packaging). This isn’t necessarily bad since there’s a defined process but probably not the most interesting in the long-run
Agreed on this. If you want to stop doing the same project over and over, you likely will need to go to B2B or FS, where there are much more commonly true strategy consulting projects.
Mind you, this makes for a much harder project and worse hours, since you’re usually trying a novel approach to solve a problem.
