I’m thinking of selling all my crypto and putting everything into ETH & DOT 50/50…..is this dumb? What’re your thoughts on DOT?

ETH yes. But why are you so convinced DOT is the best L2 play? Why not FTM, AVAX, or SOL?

Connect? Like bridging chains? Vitalik has already said that Ethereum will not allow bridges to other chains. It is too dangerous

First, don’t take advice from people on the internet. Myself included. Personally I’m a fan of dot because I believe in the polkadot project’s thesis: multi-chain is the future of web 3. It’s a rejection of chain maximalism that is all too common in the space where people get intensely tribalistic with the crypto project they’re invested in. If polkadot works out, the space will consist of separate chains that are interconnected using polkadot’s parachains. In that sense the protocol isn’t a direct competitor to ethereum/cardano/solana. Again you have to do your own due diligence. Don’t take investment advice from people on fish bowl.

🤣😅 just noo

If you’re going to go all in on something go all in on Bitcoin.

Why DOT?

What's dot?

dot is ok, gavin is obviously super capable so i imagine the team is good. i think it’s a bit risky in that there’s a chance it just doesn’t work, whether due to technical challenges or market forces. it’s very ambitious. mit1 is right to qualify his bullishness by saying “if dot works out,” but i agree that the upside is there.
