I’m trying to get into a fitness routine again, after failing at just doing at-home workouts consistently during quarantine. I have a manual stair stepper in my apartment, which I’ve been using for low steady state cardio. My question is - is it better to use my stair stepper first for like 20-30min then do an isolated at-home strength workout? For ex. Mon do stair stepper + legs, Tues do stair stepper + arms, etc. Or should I separate out cardio and strength training days?

Historically I’ve sucked at maintaining fitness (both at home and in a gym). I downloaded and paid for the app Pretty Muscles (created by Erin Oprea). I’ve been exercising and eating well for a month now (she has a robust recipe box within the app) and I’ve seen changes in myself. It has an annual or monthly fee but it’s 💯 worth every penny.

I’m no thin Minnie, but strength training is where I see my gains that last a long time. Too much cardio and all you want to do is eat! But, 15-20 min on stepper is great paired with lifts. It’s always good to get your heart rate up. You’ll have buns of steel! But, make sure you can maintain whatever regiment you go with.

Hi Fishes,

I am working as SAP CX Developer with 4.8 YOE. I am so confused on choosing the best company. Need your advice. Please guide me among these two which organization is better to join Shell India Markets Ltd or SAP India pvt Ltd.
Shell SBC India - 21.6 CTC ( 18.6 Fixed + 3 Perfomance Pay/Var)
SAP India - 18 CTC ( 16.2 Fixed + OTB(Var) 1.8 ) + 3L JB .

I heard SAP will pay 100% or even more OTB/var but Shell Var is based on performance pay and Company Profits.

Had a final round Friday that I think I did okay on and the recruiter asked if I had time to speak today. Feeling nervous because I’m feeling as though it could be a rejection. I know they had another candidate in the pipeline that hadn’t finished the process yet so I don’t think it’s an offer :/

Still I am having doubts because I think he isn’t very “intellectual”. To be clear, he’s intelligent! He is a great STEM role that requires an advanced degree. We share a love of reading as well. However he is not really interested in world affairs, does not follow the news closely, does not have a strong grasp
