I've already purged and organized after moving several classes. What I have is needed and useful. Sometimes I need a good old idea or activity. But I am open to new ideas of organizing left over, tried and true papers. I'd like to lesson the files I have to scan or store or re-organize if I change grades/units/levels/etc. Welcome any of your tips or stories. BTW, "Marie Kondo" reference is to her organizing method, if there's anyone left out there who hasn't heard of "sparking joy" and sorting everything. I share a "home office" with dh (um, cardtable atm) after a few sudden pandemic job and classroom changes. So things are tight, and we both need to improve our pandemic-forced reorg by Sept. Maybe I have led with this. Thank you again!
Are you ready with test scores from last year to share with parents? Also, information to share with teachers about classroom accommodations and resources they can use. After all most time is spent with these teachers.
