Need investment advice. NW of 600k, 31 and single, save about 5k a month. Recently moved to US 2 years ago. Have about $100k to invest. Breakdown of NW: 100k cash, 450k in 2 RE properties in Toronto, 50k in tax saving accounts (401k, HSA). Max out HSA and max company match for 401k. I’ve had really good success in RE, so it’s my comfort zone. I feel like I should be diversifying, but I’ve been spoiled by 20%+ yoy gains. Thoughts?

I have been offered a lateral move within my company to a role I (believe) I will be more interested in that will suit my skills more. Considering leaving a startup for a new role. Next week my first batch of options reach their cliff. Last year around this time the new price was set (my strike price = current price).

Does it make sense to exercise the options even if I would likely have to sell within 90 days (assuming I take the new job)? Apart from the headache of buying and selling, and the possibility that the price doesn’t change, anything else I should consider? First time exercising stock options.
