Youth is wasted on the young.
This is a saying roughly taken from something George Bernard Shaw wrote in the early 1900s.
Girl, relax. I felt like you when I turned 25 and now I’m about to be 30 and feel like life is really just beginning! Richer, sexier, more confident, and smarter than I was at 25. It was rough for a minute at 27 🥴 but we rebounded and I look forward to this next phase of life. You’re gonna be alright!

41F here, and turning 40 was quite possibly the most liberating event of my life so far. You’re still a baby! Get out there and live it up!
31M, still working on not giving Fs to everyone.
Rising Star
No when you turn 25 covid hits 2 months later and you have to stay inside for 2 years
Bullshit. 40 years old now, much more fun than in the 20s (even though they were fun back then too)
I promise it will get better.
Just think, you survived a pandemic and worse than that, a one-term Donald trump presidency during the beginning of your twenties.
Give yourself credit for getting through those horrific events.
Once trump’s mess is fully cleared up things will get better.
DeSantis is like a smart Trump. They all wanted a dictatorship, it just depends how it is packaged.
Pro
You’ve still got a lot of screwing up to do
You’ll be fine!
What kind of mistakes? If you don’t mind me asking lol
I’m 32 and feel like I’m entering the best stages of my life! Grateful for my 20s but I’m feeling much more stable, financially secure, in touch with myself, healthy, the list goes on.
You got this!

From 25 to 30, things only get better. After 30, meh…
What? F, 39, and I am hitting my peak. Just keeps getting better!
I got hotter after 25 and then smoking hot after 30. It gets better if you try 💗
M4 bringing the summer on 🥵
29 here. Honestly the only part worse about my late 20s are the hangovers. 22 year old me would be ashamed 😆
I feel like 25 is where people start to turn into actual adults.
Pro
Yeah I used to not get hangovers until I was 27 and now I’m like, 🤕 I overdid it last night.
I started working at 24, so I was just basically broke till 25. Did a lot between 26-30 including a great job and a not so great divorce. In my mid 30s moved across the globe coz I was bored of the monotony. Found the love of my life at 38 and been with him for almost 3 years now.
So my dear sister, life is beautiful - live it fearlessly. Age is just a number. Your amazing journey has just begun.
Kids?
I needed these comments. I’m turned 25 too and have been having a quarter life crisis and insomnia at night because I fear getting old. Thank you all ☺️
Sometimes I think two deviations left of the mean would be nice.
Rising Star
It got more challenging and better in my story.
Mid 20s was the best time of my life. Your salary slowly gets to a good point, and you meet a lot of great ppl while your body is still st 100%. Enjoy what‘s ahead!

Everyone has a different story!
But I would say that in my experience I was becoming more like an adult towards the end of my twenties lol. Getting a good salary, getting promoted, saving up for a house, getting married, not getting drunk every single weekend and enjoying being at home! I love it ♥️ Only downside to it is that I started having horrible hangovers 🥴
Definitely is another stage of life where the priorities are different.
I turned 30 this year and I was terrified of turning 25 when it happened. But it gets so much better. You will start to feel so much more sure of yourself and more confident of who you actually are. I’ve never felt more like myself and more certain of the person I am and the person I am becoming as I did when I hit 30. You have so much more ahead of you to be worried about 25. Life can get a little boring because of work and routines, but it doesn’t have to be boring! You just have to make sure you don’t get too comfortable and choose just to exist. It’s only boring if you make it boring! And your hangovers will get increasingly worse each year, but there’s no advice I can give to fix that. That part 100% sucks.
I'm turning 27 this year and have never felt happier!

25 is when I started taking being an adult a little more seriously, which comes with its ups and downs! I started taking dating more seriously, (now 28, just married!)
Started taking my career more seriously, and realized I wanted to get an MBA. I definitely started having less nights out and less free time, but started feeling more fulfilled and less like I was just floating around in life waiting for things to happen.
Late 20s/early 30s is awesome, but frankly life if what you make it no matter what your age.

My late 20s were way better than my early 20s.
Continue to invest in yourself and you will find life improves rather than degrades.
