Any suggestions on securing an interview with Apple in Austin in a senior quality manager role? I interviewed with them late last year for a role but didn't make it to offer phase. I've been in quality for over 20 years spanning several industries. Just looking to cut thru the applicant pool if anyone can help. Apple

I asked this and was just told “what are you proud of? What did you do that had impact?” Etc. I mostly ended up listing bullets that related to my PDs, focusing on saving hours, performing high-level tasks, and creating automations.
People hiring you know what an associate does - you need to tell them what else you did that differentiates you from everyone else.

I would look at the jobs you are applying to, it will list past experience they are looking for. Use that as guide, and try to apply your experience to as many points on the job posting as possible. I think that resume will provide a better chance of getting an interview compared to a generic template with your career highlights. That’s what I did and i found better success. Granted I left as an A2 so take that with a grain of salt.
Agree with others here. The biggest take away I got from my student career center was each resume should be tailored to the job you are applying for. By now, you have a lot of experiences and a full bucket of knowledge, skills, and abilities. It may be helpful for you to list an inventory of your KSA and use it as a resource while creating the resume for that job application you find you want to pursue. That said, if you want a general format, I think you could do a high level description of the work you did and the relevant regulatory environment. Additionally, I would reach out to the office of career services at your old college and see what resources they have available to reference. Only problem with that is the formatting will be more general and not be the best layout for your accounting experience. Good luck.
going through this process as well! i found looking at online resumes for my current position are SO helpful. I know what I did but I struggle to put in into words, so the online resumes help spark inspiration. Also, look at the job descriptions of what you’re applying to & pull key words/verbs in as applicable. I used resumeworded.com to compare how my resume aligns with the job listing and it showed key words that I missed including in my resume

Try and answer these questions and I guarantee you will see improvements:
- why were you not just another auditor (secure rotations in other departments? program technology?)
- how did you drive results (create efficiencies, improve margin) and how did this impact your performance (early promotion, lead to rotations).
- what extra curriculars did you do besides audit?
-what experience do you have that will be relevant to the position you are applying for?
