I’m used to sales roles having a base+ commission structure with bonuses. If they are offering just a base, how would you take into account negotiations?

Maybe they’re much more focused on client retention than acquisition. That could be a good thing depending on the company. I think it depends on the context of the role. If you just make sales I’d wonder why there was no commission, but for a hybrid sales/account management a base only could be good sense.

It’s a startup so most of my role in the beginning will be strategy and process and hiring but acquisition is definitely going to be key once we have some of that set!

If your total package (base bonus com) is 120k. I would negotiate from there to work out my new base salary

what do you suggest?

Generally, what are people typically paying for manager level talent (people management level, but not hard sales metrics/senior manager level; whatever the titles are in your orgs) in the federal govcon space right now? I am seeing some pretty uninspiring numbers from places like GT/EY (like $110-130) and better numbers from Deloitte GPS/AFS ($140-160+). Obviously this will vary on skillets and projects, but I'm curious what people think.

A client developer group just told me they reached terms to “buy equity in a lease.” From what they’ve told me, if we were setting this up fresh, I’d do a new LLC and easily handle capital contributions, buy-sell, etc. in the new LLC agreement. However, here the partner had a long-term lease on the underlying RE that our group wants to develop as a concept. Lease assignment to new LLC is dicey, but I’m thinking maybe we set up a Mgmt services company to contract w/ the partner-tenant entity?

1. When i tried to press the submit button it showed me an error popup with message saying something like "redundant entry". i'm sure I didn't submit resignation before that ever. But when i came out of the resignation window it was showing resignation submitted on 8/4/22. Kind of weird thing but could it cause in trouble in my clearance process ??
