I’m very unhappy with my job, mostly because of my director who is a micromanager. I don’t want to leave for any job, so being very picky. I was offered a job with an awesome director, however, I just learned one of the people I was super excited to work with is lookinng to leave, plus, the pay isn’t what I wanted. Should I still take it?

I think by your own admission you don't want to leave for just any job. If it isn't what you want, I would hold out unless you absolutely cannot bear your director anymore.

What are the reasons you are looking to work with that other person? Certain exposure, mentoring, good manager, etc??
Can you go back to the company making the offer and let them know? See how they respond. You have nothing to lose other than hone your negotiation skills and you may end up getting the salary you want as well.
Or maybe you wait and see where that person goes and apply there!

My current direct supervisor is an extreme micromanager and even hates when people take PTO. I would love some mentorship and good management too, so that’s one of the factors I’m leaning towards taking the job. But I’m not sure since I’m still not too sure what specific part of HR I want to follow and this is very Benefits oriented + the salary being lower than I thought

If the environment is your motivating factor why you want to leave, then take the job. Don't depend your future on other people. Their stay in the company is also not guaranteed.

To enter a situation like that and having that mindset from the start will be detrimental to your work. if you are unhappy before even starting consider it as a sign to not continue. It's best if you have a good outlook for the future.

like

If you are already unhappy and you're not satisfied with your salary why would you think accepting a new role would be the next for you? Update your resume to include your new skill set and apply elsewhere!

Ok if you think that your experience will be of value, do it. You already know what you have at your current work environment. Best of luck and trust your gut!

Really depends on what you value most. You have to do what will make you happy.

My current role is a embedded swe and relocating from midwest to west coast. I recently interviewed for an internal role which promoted me 2 grade levels to senior embedded swe. The current base is 82k with bonus target of 8k. The new role is 106k base + 17k bonus. New base is also 21k less than midpoint. HR told me they could not negotiate this offer as the jump in salary has already hit cap. Would you accept as is for factors like growth? Or purse methods of negotiation to get closer to mid?

Sorry if this has already been asked by others, but I'm evaluating an Apple ICT4 offer and the recruiter mentioned yearly bonuses at 12% of base + $75K RSU (vesting in 4 years). The numbers look fine to me, but since these bonuses are based "on performance" what is the actual likelihood of receiving it in full?
